It is time to make plans for the 2nd Annual Construction Cruise motorcycle charity ride for the Itasca Habitat for Humanity chapter.

This year's ride is in memory of Sue Paul and will take place August 23rd.

This ride will start at 10:30 AM sharp at RAY’S SPORT and CYCLE located 4 miles south of Grand Rapids on Hwy 169. The ride will then go south on HWY 169 through Hill City and then go east on Hwy 200, then onto Jacobson, then east on Hwy 65 to Swan River. We will take a break at the Red Eye Saloon. Gas and food will be available there. We will then go north on Hwy 65 through Pengilly onto Hwy 169 to Hwy 65 to Nashwauk. We will take another break at Jam's Corner Bar. Gas and food will be available there. We will then go north on Hwy 65 to county road 8 where we will then go west to Hwy 7, then go south to county road 59, then west to county road 60, then go north on Hwy 38 to the WILDERNESS PUB. Gas and food will be available there. Then south on Hwy 38 to Grand Rapids Hwy 2 east (4th street) to south Hwy 169 (Pokegama Ave south) and then to the Sawmill Inn. Ride should be about 120 miles in length and should be back to Grand Rapids at about 4:30 PM. End time is an estimate only.

Cost is $20 per person and will include a quality logo t-shirt of the ride. If you participated last year, this is a new logo and color of shirt. The addition of a “Poker Run” with a prize of $250 will be added with an additional donation of $10 per each player. You will receive a card at Ray’s Sport and Cycle, Red Eye Saloon, Jam's, Wilderness Pub, and the Sawmill Inn. Need to present your cards to win. Best 5 card hand wins.
